In the aftermath of the 2020 Election when there were so many issues surrounding the Presidential Election caused by Governor Wolf ignoring election law, Gary Day refused to join with other Republicans in the state legislature in asking the U.S. Congress to refuse to accept Electoral College votes until election issues could be addressed.
With radical progressives trying to divide our children and push liberal ideology in our classrooms, many Republicans in Harrisburg are trying to pass legislation to ban the teaching of Critical Race Theory from our schools. Gary Day refuses to join the fight.

In 2016, Gary Day supported RINO John Kasich over Donald Trump. Later that year, when 53 of his colleagues in the House publicly endorsed Trump, Day didn't.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, Governor Wolf over-reached his authority and violated the rights of free Pennsylvanians with his arbitrary shutdowns and mandates. When conservatives tried to give power back to the people and impeach Wolf, Day refused to join the fight.
